What a wonderful little getaway for newlyweds! We very much enjoyed the peacefulness and solitude of Colorado. The mountains across the valley are beautiful. Thanks for a wonderful respite from the hub-bub of normal life and the heat of Texas. Living here would add 30 years to one's life again! Love the "critters", the view, but not having to rough it - hot showers, microwave, popcorn and satelite TV. The best of all worlds. "See" you next year.

What a wonderful valley and splendid view. The cabin is so comfortable. What a way to relax! the wildlife has had its own welcome too. Two deer greeted us. Two crows have had a running turf war since we came, a grey fox squirrel has confiscated your hanging bird feeder for a nest, which she's almost built. Three chipmunks have graced the premises, and a fabulous blue spruce sapling has spouted back of the cabin. Wilton has fished the North Platte at Deckers. What a place. Thanks for sharing you cabin.

Thanks for sharing this great place! It was very cozy. We enjoyed relaxing, getting away to pray and focus. We got a little snow which our son enjoyed playing in. He's four & had never seen snow before! We also saw some great wildlife in the area - gray fox, stellar blue jays, mule deer, red-tailed hawk, mountain sheep & squirrels.

This being my first trip to Colorado has been like a little piece of heaven! My husband and my friends have been in love with Colorado for a long time, but it's so much more that I thought it would be. The cabin was a perfect place to meet the place where I'll retire someday! The snowman that Caleb left (see above note) was the perfect "doorman" when we got here. We saw a wolf, a fox, an Albert squirrel, and a little west of here, some eagles and elk. This is a great place to get acquainted with old friends again, fall in love with your husband all over again, and find a piece of yourself again that you'd forgotten!

This cabin was a great place for my wife and I to spend Christmas. We had a wonderful time relaxing by the fire. This was a stress reliever. This cabin was just what we needed. A great place to get away without any distractions. The views are breathtaking and I just loved the mornings with the sun coming up and shining on the mountains. We took a nice hike adn I got my snow fix for Christmas! Thank you for letting us stay here, especially at Christmas. I know that was not easy to give up. Thank you for sharing this place with others. My husband and I have been wanting to get away to a place like this for years now. We will return again.

Thanks for sharing your cabin. We had a wonderful well deserved break. The cabin was wonderful. It was a great starting point for some wonderful drives. Quenella Pass was breath taking. Winter Park was wonderful. The guys at The Hatch in Pine Junction were great. We went on a guided fly fishing trip, and caught several beautiful trout. Hope you enjoy the bears.
