What a wonderful,relaxing weekend! The scenery is magnificent, the cabin beyond our expectations. It's so serene here. We took wonderful walks that all 4 of us enjoyed. It was a wonderful experience. I hope that we can come back.

We truly enjoyed our visit at your cabin. In walking in the area, we must say that you have the best view. Your trees on the property allow privacy and yet still provide an outstanding view from all rooms.

We now see how you love this area with its peacefulness and beauty plus the enjoyment of the birds, ground squirrels and the stables across the road. We fed the horses the grass along the fence and made friends with them.

This is a wonderful experience. Now we know why you love to spend time here. We are certain the area is beautiful during all seasons. Your pictures and decor certainly make it a rustic cabin. The birds and ground animals certainly are entertaining and plentiful. We are hoping to spend some time with Darrel & Steve before leaving.

Ann and I truly enjoyed this wonderful spot. I haved fished this area several times, and have wanted Ann to see it. This cabin is a perfect spot to soak in the beautiful scenery and wildlife, and enjoy the vistas. We wanted to escape the heat of Phoenix, but where a bit unprepared for the cool weather.

I fished Deckers on the South Platt River, and Badger Basin at Hartsel. Two really first class streams. Also had fun at Terryhall Creek and finally landed Trout from the North Fork at Bailey.

We found a couple of nice eateries - - The Chinese Restaurant in Bailey is a big surprise - - Excellent. And we celebrated our 31st anniversary at the "Station - Elk Creek" in Pine, Colorado- they do a very good job. But most of our meals were right here at the cabin- if we only ate The View we would be nourished.

We had planned to use the cabin as a jumping off place for several day trips & hikes, but being flat-landers we soon became aware that we'd better get ourselves acclimated to the altitude first. What a terrific place in which to get acclimated.

It was so relaxing to sit & stare out across the Valley, pondering deep questions on creation like: do the horses get bothered by the flies all the time or do they swish their tales all the time just in case?

Finally got a couple of day trips in. The drive from Pine Junction to Woodland Park was a beautiful drive through steep canyons & mountain meadows. And we were rewarded with seeing two bear cubs galluping across the road, didn't see Mamma Bear, but knew she was around.

Thank you so much for making this bcabin available. It is a beautiful place surely we can see God's hand in his Glorious creations. My wife and I had a wonderful honeymoon and we are not looking forward to leaving. I pray that God would bless you with his presence and I pray that you all might have a relationship with Jesus Christ by trusting in him if you not already know him personally.

It is so great to be able to have a break away for three weeks - especially when it is in such a beautiful place and in such a comfortable " home away from home". We have especially enjoyed walks / hikes on the trails in the area and our little bichon dog has become quite a trail hound - city streets just won't be the same for him- the last time we were in Colorado it was in the fall so we have really enjoyed seeing all the flowers in bloom. We take with us many fond memories of WYSIWYG.

We could not have picked a better place to stay as we celebrated the marriage of our Friends, Tara Robinson ( a Delta Gamma sister) and Clay Miller. This is the perfect peaceful place to reconnect with friends and marvel at the sights and sounds of nature. Our weekend was well worth the drive from Texas/ Oklahoma and we will find ourselves here again in the future!

What a fabulous week in such a beautiful place. We watched the snow melt and enjoyed warm sunny days. We even saw a fox asleep behind the cabin one morning. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We are already thinking about when we can return again.

Our first visit to the cabin! This was a last minute planned getaway, and we could not have been more thrilled! We live in Lakewood, CO and never would have imagined this lovely hideaway just waiting for us so close to home! We loved it. The weather was great and we enjoyed every minute of it. What a scenic, nestled getaway! I needed a place whre I could slip away from the bustle of everyday life in the city to clear the mind and start my novel. Finding this cabin was truly a gift. I have enjoyed every minute here, as have my dogs. I am rejuvenated, at peace, and I have that long-overdue start to the book, so I can say that this little sojourn has been a success in more ways than one! Thanks for the opportunity to hang my hat here, David. I have no doubt I will return to WYISWYG. My wife and son enjoyed it too, when up for the weekend!

Thanks for sharing your cabin. We had a wonderful well deserved break. The cabin was wonderful. It was a great starting point for some wonderful drives. Quenella Pass was breath taking. Winter Park was wonderful. The guys at The Hatch in Pine Junction were great. We went on a guided fly fishing trip, and caught several beautiful trout. Hope you enjoy the bears.
